Starting the week of August 15, 2022, Harrow Street and Sparling Avenue will undergo construction that will last for four months. For these four months, getting to the museum will change accordingly depending on the progress of the construction.

How to get to the Museum:

Red lines on the map indicate that the road is closed. In order to get to the Manitoba Electrical Museum, there are several ways.

Option 1 (Walmart Entrance)

  1. Coming from either East or Westbound of Taylor Ave, Turn in the Walmart Entrance with the roundabout. It is easier when coming from Eastbound because there is a stop light.

  2. Take the third exit of the roundabout.

  3. Next, when you reach the 4-way stop, turn right.

  4. You will then reach another 4-way stop. Turn left on Sparling Ave. Sparling Ave. is down to one lane and isn't in the best condition, so drive slowly.

  5. Turn right on Harrow St. and then you will see the museum!

Option 2 (Wilton St.)

  1. Coming from either East or Westbound of Taylor Ave, turn in Wilton St. This is also a construction area, so there may be times construction vehicles will stop traffic.

  2. Next, when you reach the 4-way stop, go straight.

  3. You will then reach another 4-way stop. Turn left on Sparling Ave. Sparling Ave. is down to one lane and isn't in the best condition, so drive slowly.

  4. Turn right on Harrow St. and then you will see the museum!

Option 3 (Harrow Street E)

  1. If you are coming from northbound Pembina Highway or from Taylor Ave, you can directly turn on Harrow St. E to get to the museum!

  2. Since a portion of Harrow St. E is closed, you can get to the museum by cutting through the parking lot to get to the museum's parking lot.
